I didn't even try to use the Selle saddle that came with my last road bike, even though it was highly rated. My Adamo saddle, properly dialed in ended so many issues: sore sitz bones, inner thigh pain, etc. It's the perfect width for my body. It's padded a little more than most saddles but not overly so. I ride 800-1000 miles a month and really never think about the saddle (legs are another story). SInce the Adamo is a little thicker than many saddles, I had to adjust my seat height accordingly.

I had to work on the adjustments, ended up pointing the 'nose' of the seat down - and this helped. I went on a very long ride, like 40 miles and tried all of the seats I had (about 4) and this one is the clear winner. The others have pain and numbness, this one is the most comfortable. So far, this one works well. I can ride for 35-40 miles without a hassle.

You have to play with the angle and positioning, but it really is helpful if you have issues down below that riding either cuases or exacerbates. The extra wide gap that doesn't close really does the trick. They are also well built and was surprised at the weight...not the lightest saddle out there but is pretty light considering how much support it has.
