The fi'zi:k Gobi XM Saddles feature a Tail Flex rear portion offering a smoother transition on and off the saddle, as well as flexibility and shock absorption.

• Wing Flex: shell flexes downward where the inner thigh contacts the saddle allowing more efficient pedalling and full range movement
• Twin Flex: Kevlar/carbon shell is bonded to a stiff outer shell and provides a hammock-like feeling; sweet spot for pressure distribution in the perineal region
• Nylon carbon reinforced shell
• Integrated Clip System (ICS): tool-free interface in the saddle's base that allows quick attachment and removal of fi'zi:k pa:ks and blin:k lights. ICS is found on all saddles unless noted
• K:ium Rail: special alloy with a high strength-to-weight ratio and excellent vibration damping; 8% weight reduction compared to solid titanium

This review is from: Fizik Gobi Xm Kium Rail Saddle (Sports) The first time I rode on this saddle, I thought I was going to hate it. At first, it felt like I was straddling a 2x4 edgewise! That feeling went away after a bit... But it took about 4 rides (15-20 miles each, on moderate trails) to really get to the point where I could just forget about it. I was starting to really like it till I rode a new bike with a saddle that I felt was perfect for me. The construction quality was very nice, and it was easy to get back off it due to it's narrow shape. Saddles are really personal... Like everyone else, I have a box of old ones I don't use anymore. Overall, I liked the GOBI, though I thought it a little too narrow at the back. I would probably have kept it, if I hadnt tried the one I am using now.
