I called Serfas before purchasing this seat as I was comparing two other seats in their lineup and they suggested this seat. The seat has dense gel which works pretty well. There was good movement of the legs and the there was no problems with it irritating my sit bones. I could go for an extended bike ride and not have lingering pain afterwards. So, what's wrong with it? I'm 6' tall, 250lbs...so I need a big seat. The application I have is also for a beach cruiser...so the riding style is definitly upright with prolonged sitting. The number of times you hear bike "pros" say that you need a skinny seat that goes on your sit bones correctly is annoying. Sure, If I was riding BMX or single track, or 30 miles on a road bike...then maybe that's good advice, but not for constant sitting. Anyways, I digress.
