This saddle was said to weigh 195 as opposed to 240 for the vanadium rails. Don't believe it. I checked both during the installation and found that they weighed the same: 240 grams.All this fussing aside, the leather is more comfortable than the synthetic faux carbon fiber surface of the one it replaced. It became even more plush after a month or so of riding and feels way better than its predecessor; it disappears beneath you.
