There is extra Technogel padding on the nose for extra comfort. The high performance carbon reinforced shell features the Twin flex technology to add more flex down the middle of the shell. The rails are made of a material called K:ium, which is eight percent lighter than titanium. The K:ium rails have better vibration-absorption qualities and more corrosion resistance than titanium. This saddle is lightweight and comfortable, with an ergonomic dip platform. Saddle purchase is as personal as your own sit bones and for many cyclists, seeking the right saddle is a quest over time - and if you find the right saddle for your needs you stick with it - until upon seat wear replacement you find your seat has been discontinued - and then the quest resumes. I ride 3 times a week about 15 miles and 25 miles on the weekend and the personal goal is eventually to do a century. I cycle for exercise and endurance and not for speed (I'm in my 50's)and ride a Specialized Roubaix.
