Like many people I had seen all the articles discussing traditional bike seats and sexual dysfunction. Having experienced some temporary numbness and discomfort in the past, terms like `perineum' and `compressed nerves' scared the hell out of me.Since purchasing this seat I have not experienced any numbness, although adjusting to your new position on the bike takes some time. From my perspective, your body weight is transferred from the front of your pelvic bone to your hands and further back on the seat. It's certainly not as comfortable as a well made bean-bag chain, but it's not bad either. |
