It does a good job of the relieving the uncomfortable pressure that my cheap generic bike saddle gave me. It also has far better gel padding, so it feels softer also. I think the main features are the cutout in the middle of the saddle and being slightly narrower in the middle than usual. Having a slightly narrower mid section seems to help get rid of the sore hip problems as well. The only downside really is the cost, but it does seem like it is really well made and works well. I could probably find a cheaper seat with a similar cutout, but I'm not sure about the good gel padding and the rest. I tried many different saddles, some at several times the price, and this is the the one that was kindest to my posterior. It is very ergonomic, fits me well and stays comfortable even on longer rides. I heard very good things about Terry Fly products from a friend who works in a bike store.And he was absolutely right I thoroughly enjoy a nice 20 mile ride the first time on it and I have know complaints,except to say don't pay a lot of money for your next seat.
