I bought one of these on sale directly from the Velo Orange website for sixty-five dollars; normally they are ninety-five dollars, so the one here at Amazon is also a decent deal. I bought this seat for a bike I built that I wanted to look something like a 1950's English bike. It plays that part very well.This is a very good deal if compared to Brooks seats (I know, uppity leather seats should be called saddles, but it IS a bike seat!). I have a Brooks seat also on another bike of mine. Comparing the two, I would say the steel hardware under the seat is excellent quality on both seats. The leather workmanship, I think, looks maybe slightly better on the Brooks. However, this really isn't a fair comparison because the Brooks seat I have cost me twice as much as this VO seat. Also, I like the looks of the smooth Brooks seat leather better than the textured VO seat (note:I think that some VO seats do have smooth leather instead of textured). Additionally, both of my...
