I rode this bike for about a month with the saddle that came with it and after any rides longer than two hours, things down there would start to go numb. In Latin "adamo" means "to fall in love with, find pleasure in" and it is an apt description of this saddle. For the past 6 years that I have been riding I have always used the stock saddle. About a year ago I started doing triathlons. When I dropped into the aggressive aero position, sitting on the front of the saddle made me uncomfortable.I have always found that I do not perform well when distracted by discomfort. In my opinion, the best saddle ( or any equipment) is the one you have to think or worry about. Adamo was the answer I was looking for. Not only does it reduce perineal nerve pressure, but it makes the aero position in my tri bike more comfortable. For me, this translated into the improvement of my bike splits during triathlons.
