I went from a Trek seat to this one due to my butt bones hurting. Let me tell you. This is a quality seat, workmanship was great. I had my doubts about comfort, because it was much more stiff than my old seat. But I now have put 35 miles on it and it feels pretty good. there seems to be a little bit of a break in period.

I have 3 road bikes. I put this saddle on one of them. Never had any problems. No pain issues and I like the material it is made from. It has a nice firm feel to it and is split quite aways down. The saddle has a great warranty. You can try it for quite awhile and if you are not happy with it, they will take it back. The store I bought it from told me I could try it for 60 days and if I did not like it, bring it back. Give it at least 2 weeks of riding to let your butt get use to it. Well made product.

I bought this saddle due to the stock saddle on my bike being too hard and not having a large enough cut out to prevent pain and soreness in the private area. The seat is very well made with quality materails and has a nice firm feel. It is a lot narrower in the front for "true" off road MTB riding. If your trying to consider between the Serfas RX (standard) or the Serfas Performance RX, then going with the performance is a no brainer. A little more money, but well worth it.
