I originally bought this for my trek 6000 mountain bike. Great clearance and solid form that stays solid. no break apart thru the year, and I've since moved the seat to my road bike trek 1.1. I do a lot of distance and this seat has given great support to that goal. It's not a $20 saddle with a $100 brand name, it's a $150+ saddle that performs and keeps like a $200+ saddle. well worth the investment. I would like that Selle Italie gives a second chance to that model or to tell us which one on the current collection ie 2012 would be as suitable as the Prolink gel Flow. The Gel Flow I bought in the beginning of 2011 seemed to me to be narrower than others (either that or I am wider). Anyway after six months and almost 1,000 miles I just could not get comfortable, so I swithched to the Prolink. I was concerned about this being a wider saddle than what I was used to, about 10 or 15 mm wider, but ended up being much more comfortable. |
